Women Registering for the Draft

WHEREAS, protection of families has always been in the Republican platform, AND

WHEREAS, the United States and the Commonwealth of Kentucky have a tradition of protecting the family, our most precious asset, AND

WHEREAS, the survival of families is important to the future of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and our beloved country, AND

WHEREAS, we recognize the role of women’s voluntary service to our country, NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members of the Boone County Republican Party, urge our elected representatives to vigorously oppose any change in the law which would require women to register for the draft.

Adopted this 13th day of September, 2021 at a regular meeting of the Boone County KY Republican Party.
