Northern Kentucky Regional Health Department

WHEREAS, the Northern Kentucky Regional Health Department has promoted values inconsistent with the members of the Boone County Republican Party and the public-at-large, AND

WHEREAS, the Northern Kentucky Regional Health Department promoted giving away free sterile needles to drug addicts at taxpayer’s expense, AND

WHEREAS, the Northern Kentucky Regional Health Department has promoted and given away free contraceptives to children without their parent’s consent, AND

WHEREAS, the members of the Boone County Republican Party believe that a locally controlled health department would better serve the citizens of Boone County and better reflect the values of Boone County, NOW THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the members of the Boone County Republican Party, urge our elected officials both state and local to remove Boone County from the Northern Kentucky Health Department and create a local Boone County Health Department.

Adopted this 24th  day of January, 2022 at a regular meeting of the Boone County Kentucky Republican Party.
