HB50 and SB50
This was not discussed and was not on the agenda. It IS on their website with the following statement:
The City of Union, KY strongly opposes Senate Bill 50 and its twin bill in the House of Representatives, HB50. If passed, SB50 and HB50 would require local municipalities to hold partisan primaries in the spring of their election cycle. This would require incumbents and candidates to declare their party affiliation in order to participate in their primary.
