Union City Council December 23 & January 24

Union Council is focusing on development of the town center, public works projects, and a new city building.

1. The town center is developing plans for a park. Recommendations are being provided by the Parks Advisory Committee.
2. Public Works: Council is looking to expand services but will continue to contract out some. Additionally, they want to expand the department with additional storage space for equipment. There are also targeted projects such as signage, planting of trees, and recreational spaces including an arboretum. Paul Kremer is the director.
3. New city building: Council has determined amount of space and are considering four locations. No budget or contracts have been decided.
