AGENDA POINT 6 – Mayor’s report

  • Public hearing on April 15 regarding solar panel installation in the city. Meeting will be after the Florence City Council meeting.
  • Public Works Academy June 9-July 25; deadline to apply is May 9
  • Florence Aquatic Center ticket availability
  • City photo contest
  • Florence Police Department Easter Egg Hunt
  • Great American Clean Up April 26
  • Thanks to those who attended “Coffee with the Mayor” March 28

AGENDA POINT 7

  • Councilwoman Angie Cable thanked Chief Mallory for his professionalism on a city issue they had discussed.
  • Councilwoman Leslie Chambers brought up concerns about the ease of availability of Aquatic Center passes. Mayor Aubuchon stated passes are available online and via the office as well. Evidently Aquatic Center passes were available for purchase only online the previous year.
