NOTE THREE PUBLIC HEARINGS WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

BOONE COUNTY – Southeast corner of Schmidt Ln and Richwood Rd: change 34.87 acres from Ag Estates to Suburban residential for either (147 units in 24 bldgs, 4 detached houses, 56 units in 14 bldgs, 87 units in 6 bldgs ) or 69 detached single family houses. Public Hearing -1May 7:30pm.

FLORENCE – 7915 US 42: Drury Hotels want to change density for future hotel to allow outlot. Public Hearing – 1May, 7:30pm

FLORENCE – 4990 Houston Rd: add more Tesla charging stations in the Meijer parking lot. Public Hearing – 1May, 7:30pm

Hebron – Airport Exit, 571/527 Hunter Rd: change from several commercial uses to C3 for all 9.54 acres to allow converting 7.52 acres to truck stack (longer term} parking and add 2.02 acres of commercial parking.   A traffic impact study is required. Tech Committee – 15May, 5pm. Action Date – 1May, 7pm.

Hebron – East side of Ky 237 between Cougar Path and Fire Station: sign limit change to allow 4.1 acres for a convenience store, WaWa, with gas pumps plus eating/drinking establishment, Longnecks.  Agreement with 1 affected couple tourn off lights, video& sound on pumps from 10pm-6am. Final Action – Passed unanimously. Fiscal Court next.

Hebron – 1685 Stahl Rd: change 1.4 acres from Rural Estates to Suburban Residential to incorporate into Rivers Pointe Estates.  No opposition. Tech Committee – Passed unanimously with agreed conditions. Action Date – 1May, 7pm

Boone County –2560 Camp Farm Rd (near north side Peterburg Exit, I-275): change from R to Planned Dev Recreation for 36.05 acres to allow reception hall, catering, production of handmade items or food for sale, additional house, barn green house. Developer agreed to pay sheriff to manage traffic during major events. Final Action – Passed unanimously.

Bellview – 6056 Burlington Pike: change zoning from surface mining I3 to SR-1 to allow 38.5 acres to keep existing house and add 2 more houses for family compound. Final Action – Passed unanimously. Fiscal Court next.

Florence – 10709 Dixie Hwy: change 1.47 acres from Suburban Residential to Industrial 1 for auto repair storage lot. Conditions are privacy fence, landscaping buffer (evergreens), stone knee wall, no signage. Tech Committee – Passed unanimously. Action Date – 1May, 7pm.

Union – 8900 Old Union Rd: expand concept to include a ,2200 sq ft florist added to Braxton Brewery/Dewey’s Pizza. Sign cannot be electronic. Tech Committee – Passed unanimously. Action Date – 1May, 7pm.
