Boone County – Terminus of Sherwood Lakes Dr (off Mount Zion): change of concept from present Res 1 to allow 162 multi-family units on 13.8acres adjacent to single family subdivision. Only entry/exit road is privately maintained by HOA, which opposes. Rationale: needed for affordable housing. Tech Committee: passed unanimously. (Private access road issue was ignored.) Final Action: Sept 4, 7pm.
Florence/Boone County – 9104-9108 Gunpowder Rd: change zoning from Suburban Residential to Urban Residential to allow 284 multi-family condo units on 28 acres, with 10 acres in Florence, which has strict multi-family requirements.
