Union – 68 acres between US 42 and Old Union Rd: allow changes for special signage for Childrens’ Hospital for more signage.  Members expressed additional signage seemed unnecessary. Tech committee, Feb 21, 5pm. Action date: March 6, 7pm.

Hebron – Airport Exit, 571/527 Hunter Rd: change from several commercial uses to C3 for all 9.54 acres to allow converting 7.52 acres to truck stack (longer term} parking and add 2.02 acres of commercial parking.  Adjacent Val-air spoke against.  A traffic impact study is required. Tech committee Feb 21, 5pm. Action date March 6, 7pm

Hebron – Western end of Asbury Way: change from SR1 to SR2 and reduce side yard setback to 5 ft to develop 18 single family homes on 3.6 acres. Public hearing March 6, 7:30pm.

Hebron – East side of Ky237 between Cougar Path and Fire Station: sign limit change to allow 4.1 acres for a convenience store with gas pumps plus eating/drinking establishment. Public hearing March 20, 7:30pm.

Boone County/Richwood Exit –11001 Grand National Blvd: change 3.2 acres now Public Facilities to Commercial 3, which allows 7.2 acres to be Commercial 3 to allow for three commercial building sites.  Given the Publix is being built across Richwood, traffic was questioned by the members. Final action: zoning map amendment denied; variance for buffer passed. Next: Fiscal Court.

Boone County – 2804 Idlewild Bypass: change in Development for 3.4 acres to convert from Landscaping to Construction Sales and Services.  11 spoke for and 3 against. Final action: approved unanimously.

Boone County – 2841-2885 Verona Mudlick Rd: change zoning map on 7.3 acres to allow a 196 sq ft sign to be placed 95 ft high. Public hearing March 6, 7:30pm.

Boone County –2560 Camp Farm Rd (near north side Peterburg Exit, I-275): change from R to Planned Dev Recreation for 36.05 acres to allow reception hall, catering, production of handmade items or food for sale, additional house, barn, greenhouse. Public hearing March 20, 7:30pm.

Belleview – 6056 Burlington Pike: change zoning from surface mining I3 to SR-1 to allow 38.5 acres to keep existing house and add five more houses. Public hearing March 20, 7:30pm.

Florence – 4999 Houston Rd (Michael’s building): request to change concept to allow office, retail, recreation, warehousing/distribution in same building. Public hearing March 6, 7:30pm.
