Tom Judd, previously on Florence Board of Adjustments, has replaced a present Planning Commission member who resigned.

Lots of opposition from Bally Shannon and Woodvale residents. Introduces lots of traffic including construction through one street in Bally Shannon as well as increasing emergency response time. Applicants Fischer Homes and Drees Homes are required to get a traffic impact study by KYTC. Deferred until rescheduled Tech Committee July 17, 5 pm. Final Action: August 6, 7 pm.

Florence – 8748 US Highway 42, northeast corner of US Highway 42 and Farmview Dr.: request by Bank of America to change parking requirements in the Concept Plan on one acre for unannounced purpose. Tech Committee: July 16, 5pm. Final Action; August 6, 7 pm.

Florence – 8450 US Highway 42, northeast corner of US Highway 42 and Hopeful Church Rd.: change in concept plan for 3.8 acres to demolish existing gas station, convenience store, and restaurant and build a 6,372 sq ft gas station and convenience store. One resident representing an adjacent neighborhood opposed because considerable space separates the existing building from adjacent homes. Tech Committee: July 16, 5pm. Final Action: August 6, 7pm.

Union – West side of US Highway 42: allow eating and drinking establishments on 21 acres of Union Promenade, with one parking spot for every three seats vs. the original requirement of one parking spot for every two seats, with Children’s Hospital allowing overflow parking in their lot at the city’s request. No opposition. Tech Committee: July 16, 5pm. Final Action: August 6, 7 pm.
