A member of the Planning Commission, Kenny Vaught, passed away, so scheduled decisions were delayed until July 2, 2025.

Boone County – North side of Hathaway Rd., between Big Bone Rd. and Enclave Dr.: change Rural Suburban zoning to reduce the number of single-family lots and eliminate access to Hathaway for the Woodvale Subdivision. Lots of opposition from Bally Shannon and Woodvale residents. Introduces lots of traffic including construction through one street in Bally Shannon as well as increasing emergency response time. Applicants, Fischer Homes and Drees Homes, are required to get a traffic impact study by KYTC. Tech Committee June 18, 5 pm. Final Action July 2, 7 pm.

Florence – 8748 US Highway 42, northeast corner of US Highway 42 and Farmview Dr.: request to change the Concept Plan on one acre for unannounced purpose. Public Hearing July 2, 7:30 pm

Florence – 8450 US Highway 42, northeast corner of US Highway 42 and Hopeful Church Rd.: change in concept plan for 3.8 acres to demolish existing gas station, convenience store, and restaurant and build a 6,372 sq ft gas station and convenience store. Public Hearing July 2, 7:30 pm

Union – West side of US Highway 42: allow eating and drinking establishments on 21 acres of Union Promenade, with one parking spot for every three seats vs. the original requirement of one parking spot for every two seats. Public Hearing July 2, 7:30 pm.
