Boone County Long Range Plan 2045 – staff indicated that all public input indicating missing elements from previous plan had been rationalized as not missing. Final Action: approved. Next Steps: goes to Fiscal Court and Walton, Union, and Florence City Councils for approval.

Hebron – Airport Exit, 571/527 Hunter Rd: change from several commercial uses to C3 for all 9.54 acres to allow converting 7.52 acres to truck stack (longer term) parking and add 2.02 acres of commercial parking. A traffic impact study is required. Tech Committee June 19, 5pm. Action Date unclear.

Florence – 7915 US 42: Drury Hotels wants to add an outlot, probably for a restaurant, to existing lot zoned to allow hotel. Traffic and fencing discussed, but no conditions required. Tech Committee passed unanimously. Action Date June 5, 7pm.

Florence – 4990 Houston Rd; Add more Tesla charging stations in the Meijer parking lot.  Applicant not present, and rumored Tesla had gone out of the charging business. Declared a dead request.

Boone County –2841-2885 Verona Mudlick Rd: locally owned tractor sales asking for 95 ft high, 196 sq ft.  sign visible on I-71. Conditions accepted for sign to be dimmable, not higher than adjacent Marathon sign. Tech Committee passed unanimously. Action Date June 5, 7pm.

Boone County – Southeast corner of Schmidt Ln and Richwood Rd, Jake’s Farm: change 34.87 acres from Ag Estates to Suburban residential for either Option A (147 units in 24 buildings, 4 detached houses, 56 units in 14 buildings, 87 units in 6 buildings) or Option B (69 detached single-family houses).  Lots of residents oppose, especially Option A. Tech Committee discussed both without favoring one. Tech Committee passed both options unanimously. Action Date June 5, 7pm.
