BCRP Censures Mitch McConnell
On September 19, 2022, the Boone County Republican Party (BCRP) voted to officially censure Senator Mitch McConnell for his support of the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act,” the gun control package passed by Congress.
The censure resolution concluded:
“BE IT RESOLVED, that the Boone County Republican Party hereby formally censures Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, calls for his resignation as Senate Republican Leader, and shall cease any and all support of him as a Republican.”
The Boone County Republican Party calls on all elected officials to oppose any unconstitutional gun control efforts.
