Approval of new hires, including seasonal staff and a 911 dispatch operator

Appointments
Lawrence Krauter to BE NKY Economic Development Board of Directors
Commissioner Cathy Flaig to the Boone County Historic Preservation Review Board

Approval of new software for the Building Department to make it easier for residents to apply for permits and submit necessary paperwork. The system is expected to go live this summer. Cost is $95K first year; $40K annual subscription fee.

Approval of the purchase of a new mini excavator for the Public Works Department. Cost is $83K.

Approval of an agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) for the County to lead construction of the roundabout at Camp Ernst and Longbranch roads. Construction will start this spring. Project is expected to take two months. Cost is budgeted at $1.5M with $500K from the state.

Approval of qualified vendors for fiber infrastructure programs. No cost until needed. Bids will go out to five approved
