Boone County – Paddock Rd, Richwood Rd, Stirrup Ln northwest side of Frogtown Rd: Change 20 acres from Employment Plan Development to Commercial Services to build 99,000 sq ft Kroger grocery with liquor store, fuel station, and multi-tenant retail. Denied unanimously.

Florence/Boone County – 8928-8946 Old Union Rd: Change 33 acres from Rural Suburban Estates and Union Suburban Overlay to Residential Planned Development to allow 340 multi-family units to be annexed to Florence. Union Mayor spoke against it due to traffic. Denied 11-2.

Boone County – West side of US42 between Rice Pk and Bleu Yacht Ln: Change 185 aces from Agricultural Estates to Suburban Residential Planned Development to allow 335 units. Deferred to Tech Committee Sept 16 at 5 p.m.

Florence – 4700 Houston Rd: Change 14.7 acres from Commercial 2 Planned Development to Office Planned Development to allow 14,000 sq ft restaurant, 15,386 sq ft office building, a 109,000 sq ft three-story hotel, and a 152,000 sq ft seven-story hotel. Approved unanimously.

Boone County – 3090 Hathaway Rd: Change 8 acres from Rural Suburban Estates A1 to Agricultural Estates A-2 to allow 676 sq ft structure in the front yard. Public Hearing Oct 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Boone County – 2581 Longbranch Rd: Change 78 acres from Agricultural A-1 to Suburban Residential Planned Development to allow 460 Condos, 124 townhouses, 103 paired patio homes. Public Hearing Oct 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Boone County – Graves Rd, Worldwide Blvd, and Williams Rd (Publix Site): Change the Site Concept Planned Development to allow the creation of 3 out-lots, a drive-through from the existing parking lot and change access points. Public Hearing Oct 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Boone County – 3563 Petersburg Rd: Change 13 acres from Rural Suburban Estates to Agricultural Estates A-2 to allow creation of three single-family residential lots. Tech Committee Sept 16 at 5 p.m. Final Action Oct 7 at 7 p.m.

Boone County – 1440 Boone Aire Dr: Change 8 acres from Suburban Residential 1 to Public Facilities to allow continued use as a church plus construction of a 30’x50’x12′ garage and an electronic message sign. Tech Committee Sept 16 at 5 p.m. Final Action Oct 7 at 7 p.m.

Union – Southwest corner of Old Union Rd. and US42 (adjacent to Fowlers Creek): Change 3.5 acres from Union Overlay to Union Commercial to allow construction of 6,000 sq ft Stith Funeral Home and a 3,500 sq ft Chase Bank. Public Hearing Oct 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Walton – 12400 Towne Center Dr: Change 8.8 acres from Commercial 2 to Commercial Planned Development to allow 80 dwellings. Public Hearing Oct 7 at 7:30 p.m.
