Fiscal Court August 25
Consent Agenda (all items approved)
- Previous minutes approved
- Seasonal staff for Parks and Golf
- $45,5937.50 budget transferred for SS4A (safe streets for all) and recent storm cleanup
- Accept July treasurer report
Ordinances (all approved)
- Credit KOI Superior Walls for new employee occupational tax
- Change zoning on 37-acre parcel on west side of KY237 between Overlook Dr. and Barbara Dr. to allow multifamily development. Several community members expressed concerns with traffic in the area already, especially a left turn across KY237 that cars would be taking to access 275. The suggested fix for this was to take a right turn, go to the light and make a u-turn. This complies with KYTC suggestions. No turn signal needed per KYTC. One community member asked for a moratorium on building to let infrastructure catch up. (This was essentially ignored.)
