Public Library Board October 16
The highlight of the meeting was the approximately 25 citizens from Petersburg and Bellevue Bottoms who came to protest the continued closing of the Chapin library in Petersburg, which has been closed since February 2021.
Planning & Zoning September 20 & October 4
Planning & Zoning is discussing changes to allow further retail and apartment development throughout the county. Public input is critical and welcome. Note committee, action and public hearing dates.

As of 5/31/23 Total Assets to date are $7,970,000. Liabilities: $1,989,000.
Total revenue $9,951,000 vs. a budgeted amount of $9,700,000. Majority of the revenue is due to tax revenues. The annual library audit will be conducted shortly
School Board July 13
