Union City Commission Regular Meeting May 4

Florence City Council April 28
Among other business, Florence City Council held the first reading of an ordinance to regulate queuing onto streets and rights of way, particularly at drive-thru businesses.
Florence City Council Special Meeting April 21
Zoning text amendments to Boone County regulations defining manufactured home, qualified manufactured home, and mobile home and specifying permitted zoning districts passed unanimously. Under discussion: proposal to prohibit queues at drive-thru businesses from spilling into public rights-of-way.
Public Library Board April 20
The April meeting saw contentious discussion about overstaffing and continued discussion about access to the Chapin Memorial Library branch, budgets and transferring funds to interest-bearing accounts.
Boone County School Board April 16
The April 16 meeting was largely administrative and operational, with little public controversy. There were no speakers. The Board unanimously approved a comprehensive consent agenda addressing finances, construction projects, community partnerships, transportation, curriculum contracts, and student activities.

Florence City Council April 14
